After-School Learning Schedule |
For our High School Foundation Program, Young People's Language School incorporates a thematic structure to our after-school activities.
Each day is different, ensuring that there is something fun and interesting for all of our students. The After-School Learning Program consists of:
Multimedia Mondays:
Students learn to utilize different technologies for a variety of purposes such as improving their communication and presentation skills as well as increasing their academic performance.
Travelling Tuesdays:
Students learn about Canada's history and culture, engage with locals, participate in local events and have fun by visiting many of Ottawa's attractions.
Workout Wednesdays:
Students improve their fitness and learn to make healthier choices through this exercise, sport, and health-education program.
Theatrical Thursdays:
Students get in-touch with their artistic side and learn to express themselves using theatre, dance, music, and visual arts.
Additionally, students will participate in other, periodic activities that focus on areas such as leadership, teamwork, and outdoor education.
