Homestay

All YPLS students must live with a family while they are attending school in Ottawa.

Homestay is an excellent way for international students to learn about the customs and culture of Canada. It provides a great environment for students trying to improve their English.

Homestay fees include:

• Private bedroom (with bed, desk, chair, lamp and closet)
• Shared bath and laundry
• Three meals per day
• Host family profile prior to arrival
• Ongoing support and guidance

If homestay is required, submit the following at the time of application.

• $350 non-refundable homestay registration fee
• $450 custodianship fee (if applicable)
• Homestay application form
• Homestay consent and release form
