High School Orientation Program |
Young People’s Language School offers High School Orientation Program with English language preparation and high school orientation for new international students of the OCDSB before the semester begins in September and in February.

Students practice and gain confidence taking the high school placement assessment – reading, writing, listening, speaking, and mathematics are stressed

Experienced classroom teachers assist students with the transition into Canadian high schools

Program prepares students for their school year in Ottawa - daily homework, special assignments, school related questions, language improvement, and academic study skills

Fun and exciting activities take place on activity sites or at the school after classes

Students receive excellent team and confidencebuilding instruction, make new friends, and get to know Ottawa
